I just love it when I have my happy customers return! I first photographed the Baudistel family when I was just starting out as a Calgary Family Photographer – wow, it’s been a while! This session was actually won in a silent auction that Karyn Lee Portrait donated to Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue Foundation back in late 2016. I was delighted to find out Pam had bid and won the session!
Living on an acreage, we had a lot of lovely, open spaces for taking images, and the colours did not disappoint! They were just on that perfect edge where they’re still green and vibrant, but just starting to make that shift to yellow! Gorgeous! Being able to shoot so close to the house also allowed me to bring out one of my lights, and so this session is a blend between tradition family portraits, and a lifestyle session! This means that while we did some more formal poses, we were also able to do some more casual images in the fields as well!
Working with families is always a lot of fun, and getting to explore the countryside in Alberta is always an adventure. This gorgeous little acreage is tucked in near my home base in High River, so it was nice and close to town!
If you are looking to book your Calgary Family Photographer for fall colours, now is the time! In Alberta, we only have a few short weeks to get in with the great colours before all the leaves start falling! There are lots of locations in and around Calgary that are currently in full fall bloom – however, we only have a few portrait sessions left available!
Get in touch today and book your family session before the snow hits! We look forward to meeting your family and working with you!
